ENQUIRY ON RESULTS (REMARKING YOUR TEST)
If you did not receive the score you expected, you can apply for your test to be remarked. This is called an Enquiry on Results (EOR).
How to request the Enquiry on Results for IELTS?
If you attended IELTS on Computer or on Paper, you can request an Enquiry on Results directly through your Test Taker Portal.
Once you are logged on the platform, go to "Your previous tests & scores" area and click on the date of the exam you want a score review for. In the "Results" tab, scroll down untill you find the link "I would like my test to be re-marked". Once you click on it, simply follow the guidelines that appear on the screen.
If you experiencing difficulties with accessing your Test Taker Portal, you can apply for an Enquiry on Results by following the below instructions:
- Fill in the IELTS Enquiry on Results Form and submit it to ILSC via email
- You can pay here. You will need your Passport/PR card number to make the payment.
You must request a remark within six weeks of your test date. You must make the request by 9am on the deadline date. If the deadline is a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday, you must make the request by 9am on the Friday before the deadline date.Remarking takes 2 to 21 days, depending on several factors including the number of sections requested for remark.
You may choose one or more parts of the test to be remarked: the fees are the same, $250 plus an administration fee of $25 (taxes included).
You will receive an e-mail stating whether your band score has changed. If there is a change, you will be required to return your previously issued Test Report Form in person or by mail before a new one can be issued.
Your EOR fees ($250) will be refunded if there is a change. The administration fee is non-refundable.
If you are not satisfied after the EOR process, you may follow the appeals process. Refer to https://www.cambridgeenglish.org/help/enquiries-and-appeals/ to begin the appeals process, or contact us by phone, by email, or in-person for more information.
IELTS tests are highly reliable and errors rarely occur.
